About Me
Hi! I’m Amber Michaela Walker, a licensed cosmetologist born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. My salon suite, The AmberMichaela Hair Studio, is located in the Hillcrest Shopping Center (Salons By JC) minutes away from Downtown Spartanburg.
My passion comes from growing up in the salon setting at a very young age, dreaming of being a hairstylist with a love for achieving client’s healthy hair goals. Beacause healthy hair is self-care!
My clients describe me as friendly, professional, innovative, and educated! I was even awarded Hairstylist of the Year for the Greenville-Spartanburg area in 2018.
Through experience over the past years, I began to develop a deeper understanding about natural hair. I learned that the curly community never took the time to care for our curls/kinks/coils/waves, and even if we wanted to, we didn’t know where to start. Therefore, I began researching products, styling methods, and investing in education that truly will help us restore our curls from within, equipping myself with the knowledge and tools to guide you for years to come!

Priority Booking, Public Booking, & the Waitlist
Our booking calendar opens every two months. We have two different booking options, Public & Priority, along with a waitlist.
When Public Booking opens, you'll be able to book 24/7 on our booking site!
With Priority (VIP) Booking, you'll be able to request appointments (via google form) before Public Booking opens! Priority Booking is open one day only (8am-8pm) one week prior to Public Booking.

If you can't get an appointment please add yourself to the waitlist option on the site.
